About Our Agency
FOUNDED
On February 14, 2017, Second Chance Behavioral Health was established by Dr. Tysha Ushry with a mission to provide compassionate, high-quality behavioral health services to individuals and families across North Carolina. What began as a vision to create a supportive environment for those facing mental health, emotional, and life challenges has grown into a trusted community-based agency serving diverse populations throughout the state.
GROWTH
Since its establishment, the agency has expanded its services to include outpatient therapy, substance abuse treatment, family and couples counseling, telehealth services, clinical supervision, and specialized programs designed to support children, adolescents, adults, veterans, and families involved with court or social service systems. Second Chance Behavioral Health remains committed to reducing barriers to care while promoting healing, personal growth, stability, and second chances for every individual served.
